Rev. Msgr. Laurence Spiteri was born in Malta and immigrated to the United States with his family. He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, California. He is presently serving as the official in charge of the Legal Office of the Vatican Apostolic Library, Judge on the Court of Appeals for the See of Rome, Executive Director of the Sanctuary of Culture Foundation, and as a consultant to various Roman Congregations and religious communities. He has studied in various institutions in the United States, England, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Turkey, and Greece, and holds doctorates in Biblical Studies, Psychology, Canon Law, and a specialization in International Law. Msgr. Spiteri is the author of 48 books, published in the United States, England, Ireland, Malta, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, and Vatican City State, as well as 94 articles in various professional publications.
